Fortune

Fortune is a karmic response for all of your good deeds. Or maybe it’s just luck. It depends on what the stars have written for you today. The point is, it’s not something that’s up to you. As the Hermit dismisses the Fool to return to their journey, the Fool meets Fortune, a jack-o-lantern on a porch. In watching the flame dance, the Fool sees the cycles of life, unpredictable and unavoidable. You’ll get better at predicting these patterns, but none of us will ever defy them. They’re older than we are and serve a greater purpose. Just enjoy the ride, because tomorrow’s draw will be different.

Fortune Reversed

Bad luck can come in many forms. It doesn’t have to be bad things happening to you: it can also be good things that are not supposed to happen, but happen anyway. Fortune reversed can indicate that your fortune is about to change for the worse. If you’re getting “exactly what you want” ask yourself whether the timing is right or if you’re rushing things along. If you’ve made bad decisions in the past, they may have contributed to your current situation. Can you change your luck? As always, your destiny is up to you. Stay positive as you wait for the next turn of fate to take place.
